Understand The Buying Process

When you reach out to Julie Rasic to be your Realtor in the Cleveland region, she starts by meeting you face to face in your initial consultation. Julie takes the time to get to know you and let you get to know her, and to discuss your needs and desires in your new home.

The next step is pre-approval – we’ll find out together what type of loan you qualify for, your financing options, and how much home you can afford. We’ll submit your loan application and get you pre-approved to start shopping.

Julie will then work with you on finding a home…we’ll look at the homes that match your criteria, including looking at traffic patterns, schools, and other things that are important to you. We’ll set up a property search of MLS listings and start lookinmg for your dream home.

Once you’ve found the home you want, it’s time to make an offer. There’s lots of things to consider here, including the purchase price, financials, contingencies and more. Your offer will be accompanied by a pre-approval letter, and an appraisal will be scheduled to determine fair market value on the home.

Julie then negotiates the offer on your behalf with the seller’s agent. She’ll make sure that the contingencies are clearly stated and are negotiable when needed, and she will walk you through the contingencies including the right to review the title, inspections and the appraisal.

When the offer is approved, we process the loan. Julie will ensure that the needed paperwork is submitted in a timely manner.

Then it’s closing time! Julie will explain to you everything you need to know, including transferring utilities to your name and more. She will schedule a date and time to sign the final paperwork… OFFICIALLY DECLARING YOU THE NEW OWNER OF YOUR HOME!
